The search continued, day in and day out. Barely did Mohinder get a decent night sleep, even if he had found his bed comfortable. Every waking moment his thoughts returned to her, filled with worry. Where was she? Was she safe? Was she hurt? Was she.. dead?

No one could provide answers, not even Bennet. It appeared Niki had been taught too well on how to stay under the radar, which was both a blessing and a curse. There’d been no note that morning when Mohinder woke up to the cold space beside him. No messages. No texts. Not a single clue. The only fact that kept him sane was that she had left on her own accord. He trusted her. She knew what she was doing... but still. Whatever it was, he had sworn before that he’d protect her, them. Did she not trust him?

As if on cue, water poured from the heavens as Mohinder made his way from his car to the apartment lobby. Eyes focused on the ground the whole way as his shoes squeaked in the most obnoxious manner possible, as he took no care in wiping them on the mat on the way in. What did it matter? Water would eventually dry. Who cared?

Although silent throughout the elevator ride, once arriving at his door at the end of an empty hallway, he couldn’t contain it anymore. Quiet sniffling mixed with the metallic jingling of keys as the door finally opened where it was quickly locked again. There Mohinder stood, back against the door with no will to turn on the lights or even comb the wet curls from his face. Eventually his back slid down to sit on the floor, and arms wrapped around himself as he attempted to pull himself together after failing to find her, yet again.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve last seen eachother, Niki. How have you been?”

‘I want you to focus on me, (nikijessica).” Both names sounded in her mind at the same time. Both equal an distinct. Both carrying the same gravity. “Look at your surroundings. Look what damage has been done. Come back. Come back to your body. I’ll drive you both out if I have to. I want you to come back on your own. It’s gentler that way. Follow my voice. No one will harm you. You’re safe. Come back.’

Five random ooc facts a little more serious than the last ones…

I rearrange the insides of my burger or sub. Like, I open it up and make sure everything is placed equally. I thought everyone did this but one day a friend laughed at me for it. There has to be equal bacon distribution. Bacon is serious business, people.

I have two cats - One black half Persian and one Chocolate Persian.

I’ve been RPing for almost two years now but have only been playing Mohinder since February 2012 in various places. Yeah, I think I’ll keep him. :) And it was Heroes that got me into RPing. That damn series cliffhanger. I didn’t want it to end, you know?

I’ve only been writing for about two years as well. Before that, I’d never written anything in my life other than of course school papers. So I’m still learning and apologize if I’m not very good, hehe.
