I have always felt incomplete, like if something in my head was missing, or maybe in my heart. All my life I have felt like a broken mannequin, useful only for those who have plans for me. It is ironic, I have had so much, but I have always felt empty, I have never believed in some greater power, my beliefs are with those who have proved their value to me, ironically, I trust in people, but also, think everyone has a mask. Ironically, I am terrible at drawing, but I consider I have good ideas for designs, for example, clothes, the outfits of every character in the Blood king blog, I have designed them, as for some dresses Cassandra has worn. Ironically, everyone who see my face thinks they know me, that's why I create my masks, based on characters, tales, fantasies, legends or my own feelings. Ironically, every time I see myself at the mirror, I see nothing, but when I imagine every single one of my masks, I can see. Ironically, looking for death I found life, a life that gave light to my own eyes, a life whom I could replace my clumsy hands with. Looking for loneliness, I found someone else, I found the other side of my coin. Thanks to her, I could survive with only one half of my true self. Before her, writing, drawing, it was just a way to express pain, but now, when I am inspired, I think about her, and it makes me happy, happier than ever. Maybe I am weak, maybe I am just a failed project, maybe I am a coward for liking these masks, but that's okay for me, because it is my essence, before her, the essence of my existence was pretending, now it is accepting.

For my beloved, she who is able to give beauty to my awful sketches. For the one who has seen me without my masks. <3

◢Nix's Origin: pt.1 — pt.2 — pt.3

The Nix at first was an infinity space of nothingness, a dark void that existed for millions of years, until suddenly a great explosion of light appeared, and with it, five entities entered that void, these individuals were to be known as the Primordial Gods or The Gods of Creation. Today I'm going to show you a little bit of their leader:

This is Armony Blackestar, the Goddess of All Creation, the guardian and embodiment of harmony and peace. (In Spanish the word for harmony is very similar, but it has no H at the beginning, so I mixed those words for her name, and her last name is a combination between Blackest and star).

Each of them had a special task to create from this void a new world. At first, anything created would be crushed by some invisible force, as the nothingness wouldn't want a "something" to be born inside of it. So Armony with her powers Became the Nix, she herself Is the canvas of creation, she turned that nothingness into something completely, those who had the chance to see her and comprehend her beauty described her eyes as the reflection of all the starts and her hair as the threads of space and time, she was now like lighthouse that would guide this universe into existence.

When they first started to create the features of the universe, they all could only picture ideas, blueprints and sketches, but she was the one to turn those ideas to reality.

As an author, she is my second favorite character, as she is the most beautiful, kind, peaceful and joyful person that has ever existed in the Nix, I even feel I like her this much because sometimes I think I didn't make her, he came to existence in my mind.

Hey there Tumblr people, it is I, once again. In my process of recovering my inspiration, I was revisiting the Nix, fixing some concepts, working on some characters, and I got so excited to talk about it. So I'm going to drop some information here through these "Data Posts" for you to know fun things about the Nix and other plot outside the Vampire's Theme!

◢ Energy

Today's topic is Energy. Every living creature in the Nix has these three "spiritual" energies, which allows them to perform various wonders.

The first one here is the Soul, the Soul is the energy that gives something the ability to live and reborn. Several scientists, wizards and alchemists have tried to create life, but even the most perfect bodies couldn't move freely without a soul.

The second energy is the Aura. Aura is the vital energy that connects everything and everyone, there are two types of Aura, Natural and Spiritual. The Natural Aura is the one that exists everywhere outside living beings, it is what prevents planets to crumble, what allows all the elements to coexist in harmony. The Spiritual Aura is the one that connects the soul and the body, it allows people access their powers and the skills of their races, however this energy is too strong for the untrained individuals to use, is like having the energy but not the gear to use it. When skilled at its usage, people can access the strongest of their abilities, one good example is Hell and his God Form, all of that is Aura, an energy which cannot be defeated with any common element, not even light or dark.

◢Cᴏᴍᴍᴇɴᴛs ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴋɪɴɢs’ ᴅᴇsɪɢɴ.

Now, I would like to talk about the design of this... Curious lineage xd. The vampire supreme kings are based on the several points of view of the legendary count Dracula. 

Starting with Hal, he is based on the classic figure of a handsome, charming and lustful gentleman who happens to be also the prince of darkness. Vlad is based on what inspired this legend, the prince of Wallachia, Vlad the Impaler, one of the most famous rulers of mankind history, known for being a bloodthirsty and cruel man. And finally, we have our dearest Hell, he was based on the bases of the myth of the vampire, many ancient cultures had a similar concept of a creature of night that hunts the living and sucks their souls, such as the lamia from the Greek mythology or the children of Lilith from some version of the Bible.

These bases can tell you about how these rulers are seen in the Nix. Hal is known for who he was, a man of many woman, a lustful and prideful being full of hate. Vlad was known for what he could do, how cruel he was, how insane he was, this man had "Blood Orgies", and he even was capable of killing another vampire if it was needed. Finally, Hell was known as a myth, a creature from darkness, a tale to scare the children...and the adults, some kind of Boogeyman who hides beyond that dense forest, across that abandoned street, maybe in that scary and gloomy corner of your house, a shadow no one has ever seen but is the source of many fears. 

As a creator I like to compare my characters with the seven deadly sins, it is a concept I like, so, in order for you to comprehend more the simple aspects of their personalities I will highlight those sins that twist the minds of these hot men. 

They have two main sins, however, there is one that is present in the three of them, and it is Lust. Most of you (I don't know if everyone that's why I say that) are from the DL's community, so we can agree that lust simply is something vampires have xD. 

About their individual sins, Hal's is Pride, he could face anyone, no matter who, and he wouldn't even flinch, in fact, he was king and God of the vampire only for 50 years, but because he was such a pain in the backside, the Creators of the Universe trapped him in a planet alone to live for eternity. (Drya and I have this joke were hypothetically Hal comes back and claims the throne, and he is tall but he is still smaller than Hell, and it is just hilarious to imagine that scene xD: —Boy, you have my gratitude for keeping my throne warm, now get down).

Vlad's sin: Gluttony! When you think about it, normally lust and gluttony are something that seems to be fused within vampires, however, Vlad takes this to the next level. For him every creature has to fulfill a purpose, so when he finds someone useless, he eats them, no matter who they are. (And sometimes he could make some...nasty things with those people before killing them). 

And finally, our beloved Hell, his sin is no doubt: Wrath. He is someone who has learned to control his feelings, nevertheless, this only means that those feelings are maybe the most dangerous thing about him, unlike the former kings, he is not reckless but when he loses his mind...bad things happen. Hal and Vlad were scary because of who they were and what they did, but Hell is feared because of what he can do. (You'll be able to taste this with a post of an AU were is beloved son is kidnapped by humans. It is written but Drya is drawing is God appearance >:3).

I am so excited because we finally have drawings of these two, and this one when he's a kid, I cannot help but seeing that peace and innocence in his eyes that remind me of his mother.

Hello hello my mortal mates. Today I will teach you something new about our Nix. We are going to talk about the months of the Nix. A bit of context first, the gods of the Nix designed the universe so there was only one ""Sun"", it is a gigantic sphere of light, bigger than a galaxy, which is in the center of the Universe. Every planet depends on it to survive; as you know, months are how we divide the year, the time takes the earth to make a trip around the sun. In the Nix it is not that way, the gods gave every human being the knowledge of the calendar and how it works. For obvious cultural reasons, Nix's months don't have the same names as ours, the primal human society gave names to these months according to what gods they liked the most. Here, today, I will show you these months. The last context! The Gods of creation are the following five: Armony Blackestar of the Peace, War Helios of the violence, Sin Prometheus of the mortals, Plague Axcel of the pests, Death Sander of the afterlife.

January -> Armony = Month of Down.

February -> Armony + War = Month of Law

March -> Armony + Sin= Month of Ecstasy

April -> Armony + Plagues= Month of Purge

May -> Armony + Death= Month of Freedom

June -> War + Sin= Month of Treachery

July -> War + Plague= Month of Catastrophe

August -> War + Death= Month of Surrender

September -> Sin + Plague= Month of Punishment

October -> Sin + Death= Month of Crime

November -> Plague + Death= Month if Penance

December -> Death= Month of Darkness.

These are the base names, however, every culture has its own meaning for them, for example, vampires see October as their most important month, they celebrate and honor the warriors and it used to have the national Blood day. On Vlad's reign, families used to fly and capture humans to eat them alive as a symbol of physical affection towards another vampire, it was a day with many screams and blood everywhere. However, Hell changed that, because of the sexual meaning of this day and now it is known for its romantic meaning, yes, Valentine's day is on October 15.

Also, Hell's birthday is on this month, October 24. Why am I telling you this? For Cassandra's birthday we organized an event, and we are going to do it again for this "Halloween's Valentine" and our beloved King's birthday. I'm not going to give many details yet, but it will be Hot 🔥
