Found an interesting article about a music sample copyright law case with Jay and apparently its either pay a licensing fee for sample clearing or get sued. But the argument is more about tiny pieces and Jay makes a good point when he argues that "black letter law that words and short phrases are simply not protectable under the Copyright Act".
