An adventure to the boundaries of existence!

After drifting apart for many years, a chance encounter brings four best friends back for the journey of a lifetime. For Summer Nansen, this trip isn’t just a chance to rekindle old friendships - it’s for her to find what she wants out of life.

With Curiosity - a new robot friend, the four girls travel from planet to planet, exploring their natural wonders and diverse cultures. Their journey will culminate at the borderline of existence itself - the edge of the universe.

The game features three routes, each centered around one of Summer's friends. Every route contains both romantic and platonic endings. More fantasy than sci-fi, Summer at the Edge of the Universe (Samayuuni) aims to be a positive and uplifting experience, with one of the core tenets for the game being "good vibes only."

Studio Élan, the Yuri game development studio behind Heart of the Woods, has released two new teasers for their upcoming solarpunk visual novel, currently known under the working title Samayuuni. The trailers were released on January 29 and February 5. Previously, the studio released another teaser featuring the non-binary character and possible love interest Quinn.

The two new teasers feature characters, Hanna and Izzy. In Hanna's video, the second teaser overall, Hanna narratives as she writes in her diary. As she writes, she mentions Summer, who was also mentioned in Quinn’s video, Izzy, the subject of the third teaser, and Quinn, who narrated the first teaser.

These four characters, Quinn, Hanna, Izzy, and Summer, are presumably the main character and the three possible love interests. However, currently, only Quinn has been publically confirmed as a potential romantic option.

Izzy’s teaser sees her narrating a message to her younger brother, Troy. In her message, Izzy encourages Troy to pursue an art education and to go make his way in the universe, rather than join her in the family business of dark matter farming.

Summer's a plucky and cheerful girl, but she's not sure what to do with her life. Plus, with her friends making their own ways in life, she's worried they'll leave her behind.

That's why she's organized one last trip with them: a trip that'll reach the very edge of the universe.

If there's one word that describes Hanna, it's "goal-oriented." She's spent years chasing her dream of designing planets for people to live on, and so she's planned her entire life to a T.

...That is, until certain, old feelings begin to resurface; making everything a bit complicated.
