1. Favorite book
Hmmm Little Women. I also really enjoyed Tina Fey’s Bossypants.
2. If you could be a fictional character for the rest of your life, who would you be?
Oh goodness that’s impossible! Perhaps Hermione Granger? Or Fantine? JOKING joking. Ariel seems to have a pretty fun life too, getting to switch between land and sea life whenever she wants, that’d be pretty fun. But not the HCA story geez that'd be horrifying. The Disney one :)
3. Favorite movie?
Singin’ In The Rain.
4. Biggest pet peeve?
When people complain all the time, and never have anything positive to say. It really makes me sad that they can’t see all the light that’s in their life.
5. What is the nicest thing someone has said to you?
I don’t know about the nicest thing ever, but something that happened not so long ago; I did a show recently and one of the girls in it with me told me how excited her Grandmother was to see it, especially since I was singing her favourite song (People from Funny Girl). On the night she came to watch the show, she came up to me afterwards and said “Thank you so much for that performance. I am so blessed to have heard that.” I tend to get swept up in the act of performing and forget the impact that songs and performances can have on individuals, but it was a really special moment and I’ll never forget it.
6. Favourite TV show?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
7. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I honestly have no idea. I’d like to say settled into a full time job that I enjoy, hopefully living with someone I love and still singing as much as my time allows me to, but I think that’s being optimistic.
8. What is something you have a lot of passion for?
Music. And when people are compassionate. Two of my favourite things.
9. One celebrity you would like to meet and why?
Laura Osnes. I think we all know why.
10. Favorite food?
Anything chocolatey.
11. On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you feel about yourself? (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest)
Some days 3, some days 8. I’d never say a 1 or a 10, because I’m not perfect but there’s always something to love about oneself, but it just depends on what’s going on in my life at the time.
