Sav was sitting in the courtyard, working on some homework, when she glanced up, looking around at the rest of the students milling about - always looking for a reason to be distracted - and spotted Sam. She waited for a moment, her eyes on him as she watched to see if he would notice her. It didn’t take long for him to look in her direction - whether coincidentally or if he had already seen her, Sav didn’t really care. She playfully winked at him when their eyes met, lifting up one hand to beckon him over towards her. “Hey you,” she greeted when he approached, a smile spreading across her lips. "Wanna be the distraction I so desperately need from my homework?” 

The puppy that hops onto her knees, on the other hand, earns a laugh and a treat from the bag on the counter. She catches a quick whiff of Sam and knocks on the wall by the cupboard to let her know she isn’t alone, cracking a beer open and leaning against the fridge.
