So, first, we have his head with:

the word “HELLBOUND” on his neck

a Christian cross under his right eye

a spider under his left eye

an Iron Cross on his collarbone

a complex design on the back of his head

That last tattoo appears to be a skull with sharp teeth, combined with bird/angel wings above it, but in the wings, there is what looks like a pair of eyes, or maybe “eyespots” like butterflies/moths sometimes have.

Then, here are his arms:

Right arm:

the United States Marine Corps emblem with “U.S.M.C.” written under it using the font Old English Text MT, as well as the phrase “Dulce et Decorum est” above it (hidden under his sleeve but revealed by the texture sheet)

a grenade, similar to the model used in the game

a skull wearing a crown, smoking a cigar, and with a branch under it

the word “HELLRIDER” in the font Edwardian Script ITC

an assault rifle

a spider web (on his elbow)

There’s also a small black shape near his glove above the rifle (more precisely, the front iron sight on the weapon), but I assume it’s just a piece of the Iron Cross that ended up there by mistake.

I’m not sure who originally drew the crowned, smoking skull, but I know it’s on the cover of the book Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopaedia Volume I by Dantsig Baldaev. If you erase the smoke and flip the image horizontally, you basically get Sam’s tattoo.

It appears the spider web wasn’t drawn by the devs either, as this exact same design can be found on various websites that sell temporary tattoos.

Left arm:

a “U.S. Army” tattoo with a skull and crossed rifles

a grim reaper

an assault rifle (same as on his other arm, just flipped horizontally)

a small Christian cross (identical to the one on his face)

a spider web (on his elbow; same design as the other one but flipped horizontally)

I found a U.S. Army tattoo that looks a lot like what he has on his left arm, partially hidden under his sleeve, but I sadly didn’t find the name of the artist. In fact, the two images look so similar that I think the devs may have simply edited the photo to create Sam’s tattoo!

I also looked for the reaper but couldn’t find the exact same image, so it could be an original design.
