MUNDAY MEME SO LATE ITS THE NEXT MUNDAY.
🤔 What’s something you’ve never tried in RP but want to? In my 20 or so years of rping, there are very few things I could say I've wanted to try for RP and never got the chance. My list is more obscure little plot bunnies I've had that I've either never had the chance to go into, or that were dropped long, long ago, and I want to revisit them again. (Given they were my brain children and some people apparently didn't deserve them /lh.) I've definitely been working on a wishlist to post! So I'll def get that up eventually.
🎲 Do you like doing random starter calls or planned plots more? Kinda both, I think! Random starter calls and memes are great ice breakers to me, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the old days of RP, where we used to throw following starters at each other of random shit. It's kind of hard being from that era of RP in the modern era because it really weighs on you how unfriendly, uncooperative, and uninteractive RPC has become. Like we used to have real fun. It was crazy, but it was fun, and I don't know if I would have ever gotten into RP if it wasn't like that once.
💖 What’s a trope you love and will never get tired of?
Very lame and cliché, but the first one coming to mind is a monstrous/bad character experiencing love for the first time. Both from the perspective of the character "falling" for someone (I'm including this even in a platonic way) and from the perspective of the character recognising this is the first time someone has loved them/treated them kindly. ⚡ What’s something small that instantly makes you excited to reply? I'm a lameo loser who gets excited about as little as a reply itself. In this day and age of the RPC I feel blessed that my posts can get more than 1 note and my threads can get more than 1 reblog in. Literally nothing lights me up more than seeing replies to threads from my mutuals. I've even been embarrassingly called out about it IRL, LMAO. "What are you smiling at?" like.... None of your business. 😩
💌 Do you prefer people to DM you for plotting, or just jump into asks/starters? Jumping straight in is ALWAYS the best for me. My socially awkward ass struggles with IMs and such, regardless of the conversation. I'm from an era of Tumblr RP where we didn't have IMs, and I miss it a lot. It felt a lot more... Relaxed, if that makes sense? My way to communicate with new people is still to jump straight into the silly RP shenanigans, leave OOC notes/chatter in the tags of my RP replies, and as we go back and forth and warm up with each other, then I find it a lot easier to yap in IMs or on Discord, if that makes sense, which then usually leads to the plotting aspects. I'm always a little surprised when people don't "tag talk". I used to wonder if I'd done something wrong when people didn't tag talk to me, BUT I've learned that it's just not a thing a lot of people do anymore LOL.
