Who’s more likely to find who wearing their clothes?: Jack would come back to his cabin or wake up in the morning and find Pearl wearing his clothes/effects and he wouldn’t complain at all because he thinks it’s cute af

What are there arguments/fights like? How often do they fight?: I don’t think they’d actually fight all that frequently? more often than not they’re completely on the same wavelength so it would be a rare thing and probably as a result of Jack being a dummy and getting overprotective tbh

Who is more likely to throw things in fights?: neither? I don’t think they’d ever get that bad

How do they make it up to each other/apologize after an argument? cuddles and kisses and sex lmao. although I do think they’d actually talk things through after an argument because things would have to be serious for one to happen and I know Jack for sure would want to clear the air afterwards

Do they have nicknames for each other?: only really the pet names/terms of endearment they use 

Caring for each other while ill, how does the other muse go about it?: well they’d BOTH be super concerned/protective over the other – and I mean to an extreme since they basically mean everything to one another. I don’t think they’d be leaving the other’s side at all until they were feeling better, and they wouldn’t be getting much sleep in the meantime since losing the other is their biggest fear ((:

And how do they make them feel better?: Jack would physically Die. seriously though he’d be at her side in a heartbeat asking what was wrong and offering cuddles, and he’d stay at her side until he knew she was okay/feeling better. and if anyone had upset her then god help them tbh.

What would they be like as parents?: again they wouldn’t be, but hypothetically speaking they’d probably be pretty good on the whole? they make a good team

What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts? it wouldn’t really work for them but it would still be cUTE AF I’m sure

       Always. The STRENGTH of that one word pulled his gaze to hers at once, unleashing an unexpected torrent of emotions even as they sat rather sedately underneath a palm tree, a short way from where the rest of the crew gathered fruit and fish and took their shore leave in the sea and sand of this equally sedate island. Her hand gripped his tightly, and Jack sensed the fierceness underlying her tone.

       And even if he hadn’t known why, the pang in his chest was quick to remind him of just how LONG he’d spent without her while she’d occupied her true form.Then, it had been reliant upon him to find her again, to take back control of her from his mutinous first mate and LIBERATE her, he hoped, back into a life under his command. She’d been a mere ship of wood and canvas, unable to act for herself and find him, condemned into a reign of terror over the Spanish Main for nigh on a decade. For all that this new form was challenging to BOTH of them, the change did now allow them to connect in a way that they hadn’t been able to do before.

       She could choose him. She had FOUND him, all on her own. And, while they were like this, they had more control over staying together. Over being together. And that was why the desire that had recently tugged at him felt so strangely UNUSUAL. He’d touched her before, yes, as he’d taken hold of her helm and guided her across calm and stormy seas alike, as he’d stepped across her decks with well-worn boots and ordered men about… but she had never been a WOMAN, before. Now he could touch her in a different way: kiss her and feel her respond in kind, rather than convince himself that she responded differently to him than any other man on his crew.

       He had never been able to want her in this way before, and the newness of it all only served to increase his CURIOSITY. Pearl had kissed him before, sweetly and with a smile that had made his heart race, but this would be the first time that he had kissed her. And as he angled his head, letting his eyes sweep across her sharp features, that was all that he wanted to do. His lips were GENTLE as they met hers, not pushing but savouring in the moment. 

      It was only ever during a QUIET moment between the pair that Jack had a chance to truly reflect on what an extraordinary set of circumstances this was. That she was here. That he could speak to her and even hold a conversation with her. Usually he stopped himself before voicing such thoughts; this peculiar situation had been challenging for the both of them, but none more than for Pearl, trapped in a form that was not her own. The last thing Jack wished to do was cause anymore pain, or increase her LONGING for her true calling on the waves and at his command. But that didn’t mean that he didn’t have questions. 

      Or, indeed, GUILT.

      It had already been an evening full of simple pleasures: flowing alcohol, good company, and MUSIC filled the air around them, and Jack couldn’t have been in a happier mood as he and Pearl joined in the rest of the crew’s festivities. Tankard in hand, he’d merrily sung along as the men had regaled in shanty after shanty, with several sidelong looks confirming that his companion, too, was enjoying herself ( seeing her SMILE lifted his mood even more ). He’d been momentarily distracted by one of his crewmen before the touch of a hand and a familiar voice caught his attention and, as he turned, the nature of her offer caught him slightly off-guard. For the briefest of moments, the smile that touched his eyes was utterly genuine ( he’d blame the slight colouring of his cheeks on the ALCOHOL, if he was asked ).

      ‟ Oh go on, then. ” The change was instantaneous, eyes twinkling and voice laced with characteristic airiness. Setting his tankard aside, he used his grip on her hand to help himself to his feet. ‟ But I’m warning you now, darlin’ – me natural GRACE leaves a lot to be desired even while I’m sober. ” 

      True enough, once he was on his feet he swayed slightly, taking a moment to account for the rum in his system before he was led to a sparser part of the deck. As he did, his mind managed to catch up to him – his semi-intoxicated state helpfully pointing out that dancing was a pastime which, by definition, would force a CLOSE PROXIMITY to his partner. And in such a state or not, he could certainly appreciate that.
