Thank you, all of you, truly. Doubly so for those of you have been been able and kind enough to donate and help me with my studies. With all the extra hours I have been working, I figured I could ferret some of the cash away and commission something nice for you in return<3

In Sonic Advance 3, you can select not just one, but two characters that you will play as when you traverse a level. Some of the special pairings have specific names. Sonic and Tails are 'Unbreakable Bond', Sonic and Knuckles are 'Fighting Buddies', Amy and Cream are 'Team Jubilee', and Sonic and Amy are 'Lovely Couple'. However... Sonic seemed miserable in the sprite art. That always broke my heart a bit, both for Amy, who just wanted to hang out with Sonic, and for Sonic, who, to me, clearly didn't want to be there.

For years, I had wanted to commission a ShadAmy piece inspired by (and in no small part in spite of) that... joke... for lack of a better word. I wanted to show Amy with actual partner, who was actually happy to be there. I wanted to show Shadow as someone finally allowing themselves to be happy and safe in a relationship. I wanted to show an actual, 'Lovely Couple.'

It was Salami-Dono who, during concept drafting, came up with the idea of having Amy hug Shadow from the back, reminicent of their first hug on Prison Island, but obviously having it changed to showcase their evolved relationship. I fell in love with the idea.

Salami-Dono has also granted permission to use the background aspects that they pulled/embellished from the game. That way, *everyone* can have fun showing off their own favorite, 'Lovely Couple's!

Please give them the tremendous thanks that they so very much deserve! They are a lovely person, and their work is truly beautiful!
