I got early access to the game as I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, so I've already finished Chapter One of the game, and...the craziest shit happened.
LEVEL-5 JUMPED THE SHARK!!!!! You know that joke about how Tenma (and to a lesser extent, Endou Mamoru) treats "Sakka" like it's an actual living being with the line, "SAKKA IS CRYING!"? Well, Level-5 took that joke and RAN WITH IT TO THE FARTHEST HORIZON!!!
Unmei watches a video his boyfriend, Sakurazaki sent him, and it's the conclusion of the match from the opening cutscene, showing how Endou Haru is a beast (and maybe has a LITTLE BIT TOO MUCH plot armor). He then notices a "Sakka Ball" on the ground and kicks it, only for it to become real and MAGICALLY SUMMON A SAKKA PITCH AROUND UNMEI, COMPLETE WITH ENDOU HARU TALKING TO HIM!
Only, Unmei isn't having any of this bullcrap and says, "You're not Endou Haru.", which leads to "Haru" walking up to him and saying, AND I QUOTE: "I'm Sakka."
IT TOOK THEM NEARLY 20 YEARS TO JUMP THE SHARK WITH THIS FRANCHISE, BUT THEY FINALLY DID IT!!!!!!! LIKE, WTF HINO-SAN!?!? I'M STILL LAUGHING AT HOW FUCKING ABSURD THIS IS, I MEAN JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!!!! xD
