Writing to this~

this is what I've been spending my time on tonight. I like this much better than its last wip~!

Saint gave a few practice strums of his guitar before settling into the piece, closing his eyes at the perfect sound. Something about the quality of this Midgardian instrument had him mesmerised from the first time he'd heard one played. Books, study, histories- all the things that his Loki loved - held no interest to him. Lectures from tutors attempting to drill dates of wars and names of people he didn't even care about only served to put him to sleep with eyes wide open. All he wanted to do was practice the skills to fight, adoring the feel of muscles burning while he commited new pattern to their instinctual memory. Not sit for hours on end in the dusty, stifling atmosphere of the chamber of knowledge. However, he was willing to stay stationary for a while with this piece of mortal beauty, lessons on which he'd stolen the brief hour or two in Midgard when no eyes watched him. Although he loved all forms of this instrument, the classical one he currently held was his favourite for the depth and raw beauty of it's sound.  It would be a lie to say the thought had not crossed his mind of serenading Loki with this - but until his skill was flawless he could not. The Jotun deserved nothing if not perfection.
