Hey everyone! On Aug. 19, 2018 we departed from Stralsund, Germany on our voyage to Gulf Shores, Alabama USA. As you know, we haven’t made it to Alabama yet but we have sailed 7,163 nautical miles so far! We have hoisted the flags of 11 countries, sailed on 6 significant bodies of water along three continents, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, and crossed the Equator twice. We are so excited to celebrate our one-year anniversary at sea. We plan to make a video for the occasion and would like to include the answers to any questions you may have. Two years ago today we married on a distant beach in the company of some of our dearest friends. . I nearly fell into the sea boarding the tender that I then drove to shore in my wedding dress, as my honey was hiding behind some bushes putting his wedding garb on - hoping no-one would spot him! . It was a crazy, beautiful day full of love, with our friends coming together to decorate our cyclone ravaged venue and fill it with laughter and merriment. . Two years on and the challenges have kept coming, but we wouldn't have it any other way. . We've grown closer and our bond is stronger. We've learn't so much about ourselves and each other - and both agree that we're so glad we've got each others backs - and fronts, and sides! . This year see's us crossing oceans and venturing once again into the unknown, with a deeper appreciation of all that we have - and all that we are given. . Cheers to you My Honey, My Love.
