thinking about dragon/knight solarflare where zams a knight sent to slay flame but she never ends up going through with it, partly because hes so difficult to fight and defeat and also because hes the only one who truly seems to listen to and allow her to vent her frustrations. flame, for his part, is thrilled to have a consistent fighting partner because as much as he loves sitting atop his hoard and defending it, his favourite activity at heart is bloodshed and fighting. idk how itd end maybe with her going to him and asking for a blessing in battle since shes leading a revolution or smt.... he doesn't kill himself but he does offer her old pieces of armour and swords from his hoard as well as pieces of his scales to help reinforce her armor ... and then they can live happily ever after together when she returns victorious
