★ because Edan wouldn't go with Clayton into store or theater because of the enclosed, private space or something (idk you can choose the reason. i just wanted to see Edan's reaction ~u~ )
SEND ME A ★ FOR MY MUSE'S REACTION TO YOURS PICKING THEM UP AND THROWING THEM OVER THEIR SHOULDER
Going with him was a better idea then going back home. Elizabeth had a date with her dumb boyfriend, Olivier had to spend her evening with her family. And his dad - well, the whole week has been hard for him and his mood was on a really low point where every wrong action, even every unnecessary breath, could make him throw a tantrum. Edan didn't want to go through this today, his own nerves weren't so strong since a few days. So, that idea wasn't a bad one, maybe even better than he expected.
They had spent some time together since Clayton came to Richmond as a teacher in training. Not just at school but also in their free time- most of the time they had run into each other like in New York. Edan heard that Clayton would be in town. Not that Edan would have gone there just to see him, no. If he would run into him, okay. If not, then it would be good as well. And with Edan's luck he had run into Clayton. Words were exchanged, they talked for some time until they talked about a new movie that just got published. And both didn't had anyone to go with. And not wanting to go alone they decided to go together.
Said and done. It didn't took them long to get the tickets, the screen above the register showed that there were plenty of free seats avaible in the cinema hall. And they had the luck to get two in the back of the hall. So, they went straight to the hall. Edan was already excited. Movies with action and heroes were just way too cool not to be excited about. But as they enter the room he just noticed something he didn't like. Though they weren't completely alone there weren't so many people with them. And even worst - they were the only to people in the last row. And he didn't like that circumstance.
"No." Clayton who already approached the seats turned around as he heard Edan's voice behind him. "Hm?" He could see Edan who backed away from the rows, turning on his heel. "No! Without me!" He was ready to head back home if he would have to sit next to Clayton, closer than he would want it. But he didn't consider that two played this game. Before he could reach the handle Edan felt an arm wrapped around his waist, stopping him from getting any further. "Huh?!" As he turned his head he had to discover that Clayton was the one stopping him from running away.
"Hey! Let go!!" Edan tried to free himself, pushing the arm away. But Clayton was taller, stronger and not someone who would let go easily of his target. "C'mon, I'm not such a bad guy. You're not gonna get anywhere now, ladybug." In a swift move Clayton picked Edan up and threw him over his shoulder, making it impossible for Edan to get anywhere. "Nooooo!" His screams filled the whole room. The other people witnessed the little fight, complaining of the noises and demanding Edan to be quiet. Not that Edan would listen to them. Instead he flailed around, trying to get down again. "Lemme go! Asshole! Fuckass!!"
