Welcome back ladies and gents to an all new and bolder season of The Bold Type!

And trust me, I’m kinda pissed at RJ for thinking he knows what the public wants to see from a magazine.

Everyone is on edge as expected and the girls split up. Kat talking to Patrick (and then RJ), Sutton to Richard, and Jane on the hunt for Jacqueline who is accepting to her being removed.

The trio goes to New Jersey where their printing press is to get copies of the new issue. They go under the fence and successfully get inside the building. They talk to the security guard who loves Scarlet and the new issue and who was excited for her daughter to see people who looked like her mom on the page. She lets the girls “sneak passed” her so they can get their copies.

They decide to give out the issue to those who worked on it, but parts of it get leaked - including Jacquelines editor letter.

But it’s all good because the Scarlet employees and the public are all for it. The leak, being seen. Everyone except for the board. The board of all old white men (except for Richard of course #lovehim). Sutton tells him the truth which he says was bad and that the trio could get fired bUT they come up with a plan to convince the board that firing Jacqueline was bad for business. RJ invites Jacqueline back and her conditions are that all her employees jobs remain intact and that he join the We See Her march. He then tells her that after they publish the Fall issue, Scarlet will be completely digital since times are changing. She takes the deal.

Patrick leaves Scarlet and Richard, Jane, Sutton and Kat are at a bar. Ryan comes and Richard and him go to get better shots. The girls find out that it was Luke who leaked the magazine but since everything worked out great, they’re okay with it.
