I don't think curt suffers from internalized homophobia generally, but I do think he thinks it's something he can fix. he's a government employee under executive order 10450; he knows his life would be so much easier if he could just find a woman he can tolerate. a couple billion women in the world—surely there's ONE he wouldn't hate to be with. there must be a woman somewhere who will understand him and excite him and care for him. and fix him.
