This chapter is up a day early, which I'm happy to share - especially as it has been a long time coming. We see a culmination of a lot of what came before, and a lot of what's happening now. It's a chapter about life, love, and the pursuits you'll go to protect those you care about.

This chapter is officially my longest chapter in the entire fic, and while there's maybe one or two more chapters that may overtake it, I wouldn't be surprised if this remains the longest when all is said and done. It's nearly 36k words long, and I poured my heart into each and every single one.

In this chapter we see the trials and tribulations characters will go through for love. How new love takes shape. And how love can also be your greatest bane, and your boon.

I’m not committed to getting the Chapter 14 of “Fate Written into Stone” out on Thursday, although I’d like to for my own sake. We’ll see how things shake out. There’s a definite possibility this chapter gets delayed until the 7th/8th of September. If it does I hope you all don’t mind waiting until then!

Chapter 14 is going to be big, not in word count (although it’s already at 16k) but for story and character implications. I’m excited to see everyone’s reactions when the chapter drops. 👀

It’s at nearly 22.5k words and growing. I’m going to keep writing and editing until I think it’s perfect because this chapter, more than any of them, deserves that.

I feel like I’m setting high expectations, but if I fail to meet them then that’s on me, because this chapter SHOULD be on that level. I am so excited (and nervous) for you all to see this chapter. I can’t wait!
