So I though about this webcomic and decided to pay it a visit. It has not updated since I've last checked on it, but the artist has not met a terrible fate nor has she decided to abandon the story. Granted, I needed to dig for this information and check out her deviantArt.

Anyways, the webcomic has no relation to the 2004 movie, the published comic by Steve Orlando and Artyom Trakhanov, or water waves. The story stars Teyn, a newly minted soldier of questionable ancestry, and Saehral, a knowledge-seeking ... being of unknown origin. The local royalty have been kidnapped and historical enemies are making a comeback, and that's where we've been for four years.

But eh, pretty pictures will tide me over.

It does actually get kinda better towards the end! I felt feelings for the characters! IMPROVEMENT!

Yeah, I've now watch from episode 18 to the end of the season, and I'm probably gonna give Season 2 a chance.  I mean, I still find most of the characters kinda... dull, but I'm feeling a potential I didn't feel in the first episodes of the series, so.

Naw…the ‘freedom fighter revolutionary’ chick drank the Kool-aid. They’re doing their best to be like “we’re all on a ship together, it’s just like Firefly now, ISN’T IT?!?!”

Ugh, that's disappointing.  Ah well, that answers my question of whether I should get back into it or not.
