23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

A Marigami fic, where disaster bi Marinette accidentally asks out Kagami instead of Adrien for a date, and then Marinette realizes that she’s in love with Kagami, while Kagami has been crushing on her for the longest time. Adrien and Marinette are good friends though, and in this fic, Adrien confesses to Marinette that he is aromantic. Adrien is rooting for both of them because Kagami talks about Marinette A LOT during fencing practice.

I’m always debating about whether I should continue to write this or not… It’s been in my WIPs for the LONGEST time. Also, I might have given TOO much away on here haha, the things I mentioned are definitely spoilers to the story (that is, if I end up continuing it)

25. What part of writing is the most fun?

Definitely imagining my favorite characters in different situations and AU’s! It’s so much fun

3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)

Oh gosh… So many. Here’s one: There’s this Marichat scene in my head that plays a lot in my mind, where Marinette is sketching in her notebook, and she sees Chat Noir roaming around Paris, and gets all heart eyes and thinks in her head, “Ah, that’s my boyfriend,” later for her to fall off the park bench because she’s shocked by Tikki calling at her to transform. Bonus: Chat Noir finds her toppled on the ground from the park bench, and now HE’S distracted and HE trips and falls. Probably some post-reveal pre-relationship shenanigans  I’ll give you and everyone else permission here to write it because I don’t think I ever will - If you do please tag me, I’d love to see it!!

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

Okay, here’s another snippet I really like from my writing... This is from my Flipped AU (which I really need to continue... This snippet is from chapter 4):

At that moment, Adrien wondered what it would be like to climb up that tree. How refreshing it would feel up there, the soft breeze blowing on his face, the wind feeling so freeing, and for just a moment, he wouldn’t feel like he was suffocating.

He began to understand, for just a moment, Marinette’s determination, and just how much she loved that tree.

Her eyes met his. “Please…”

But he couldn’t climb the tree. How could he possibly? Marinette was up there. And her being up there with him would only suffocate him even more. 

Because she was crying too.

Idk, I really like it, and I was super proud of it for the longest time. Just because it’s really hard for me to capture sadness in writing.

6. What character do you have the most fun writing?

Even if I don’t write him a lot, I have a lot of fun writing Plagg. I just love his interactions with Adrien, they really lighten the mood of the story.. Whenever I write him, I at least get a chuckle from the dialogues I write between him and Adrien lol

8. Is what you like to write the same as what you like to read?

For the most part, yes? I write mostly fluff and mutual pining, and I love reading it too. For angst, I feel like I read more of it more than I write, but I definitely read more fluff than angst.

23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

Okay, here’s another story idea I’ve had in mind. It’s a Adrigami medieval AU, rivals to lovers, where Kagami and Adrien are knights-in-training for Princess Marinette. They’re constantly bickering because they want to impress Marinette and prove which one would be the better knight (even though Marinette has already made up her mind that they’ll both be her knights). Something happens where Adrien and Kagami end up trapped together and they have to figure out how to get out, but along the way, they start learning things about each other that they never would have expected.

I just really wanted more Adrigami content. They’re licherally the sword duo, so I’m surprised there isn’t enough medieval AU’s with them.
