It's funny how with school starting, I haven't felt more alone. People are rushing by making small talk with  their acquaintances and having robust conversations with their friends. And there I am staring at them. All the people I've hurt. I hurt them in ways no one can understand except for them. Their own little society of "Her Puppets". I look at him. I remember how it felt to sit next to him in his basement and the family dinners I endured to see him smile. And now I sit next to him in class and hate to look. Because I know his smile has turned to a glare and he is like the rest. Broken by me. But what they don't know is that I too belong to their secret society. Because I broke myself in the process.
