Fleaker
In the fleak of a hearts confusion
A flake of withered Scarlett
Twisted around a needles thread
Weaving up the chambers -
Snatch the lock and key.
Call for recess,
I need the nurses office,
A bandage to stop the lime mixing,
Keep the sand away from the Ocean.
Sadfishing: Is Your Child Seeking Attention Or Seeking Support?
As social media becomes a bigger part of your child's life, it's crucial to understand "sadfishing"—posting overly emotional content to gain attention or sympathy. This term, coined by journalist Rebecca Reid, gained traction when Kendall Jenner's acne struggles were revealed to be a marketing ploy, labeled as sadfishing.
Signs your child might be sadfishing include posting excessively emotional content, seeking validation from followers, or exaggerating their problems. While some posts may be genuine, others could indicate your child needs more attention or support. It's essential to differentiate between seeking help and manipulating for attention.
Engage in open conversations with your child about their online behavior. Encourage them to express emotions healthily and guide them towards finding genuine support. If you suspect they might be struggling with deeper issues, consider seeking help from a mental health professional.

Why I’m Warning My Kids About Sadfishing And You Should…
We’ve all seen it: a friend on social media tweeting or posting status updates bursting with tantalising cryptic vagueness.
I’m so upset right now. Unbelievable. SO done with this. FML.
Oh, the mystery! The intrigue! How delicious. We, of course, have. to. know.
“What’s happened? Are you okay?” we ask. The response? Oh, nothing. It’s okay. I’m fine. I’ll PM you.
That’s if we even get a…
