SO I JUST FINISHED KMCLAUDE'S NINETY NINE RIGHTEOUS MEN:
And I am PISSED. And in love. And perfectly ruined, the way any good story should leave you. 99RM has a very well thought out story that flows beautifully. There are no awkward transitions, no "this just happened and now we are here doing a thing and I don't really know why"s. Every scene change made sense, every action had an understandable reason. In only 120 pages, I got to know the characters, see a little bit into their reasoning and choices and actions and emotions, and was tantalized with an interesting back story that I would love to see in more detail. The author, in my opinion, accomplishes what many stories, visual or print, sometimes fail to do. 99RM got my attention from the beginning and held it all the way to the (bitter) end. The art was visually appealing and well executed, and the writing was well done and enjoyable. The action and the emotional arcs were both done in a way that left me satisfied and bereft at the same time. "One sinner who repents..." indeed. I definitely enjoyed this story very much and recommend it to those who like something a little different and darker, and look forward to any future projects from the author.
