Scarlet Blood Chapter 5: Skyfall
Scarlet walked back into camp along with the other fighters and prisoners. She could barely heard her army say anything. After throwing the last prisoner in a cage she lept onto a rock in the middle of camp. “King Slash’s army raided,” she paused due to muttering among the gathered Morphs. “We have five prisoners, and three dead.” She called out. “The dead are; Oak, Silver Mist and Amber.” She continued. She looked around the gathering. She saw Leaf, Oaks sister, standing in shock. She looked over and saw that Shade, Silver Mist’s brother and Amber’s mate, had fallen into his knees out of rage and sorrow. And her own sister, Golden, was just staring into blank space. “Swift, Sun, Lavender, And Burn, come with me to retrieve the dead.” She said leaping off the rock. They walked int silence most of the way there. “How many did we kill?” Burn asked. “Seven.” Scarlet replied. When they reached the clearing it seemed worse then she remembered. The pools and trails of blood seemed bigger, and so many dead. “Burn and Sun, help me bring the dead of Slash’s army to the border.” She ordered her brothers. “Lavender and Swift, you collect our dead and bring them back to camp.” She had said already walking off to a serpent. She had to change to her human form to drag large animals the through the forest. “This took longer than I wanted…” She thought. Swift and Lavender had already gone back to camp so it was just her and her brothers when Admiral Blaze pushed past them both carrying Odin on her shoulders.
