Harry/Percy: Meet Me Inside
Percy was better suited for shutting down parties, not planning them. The streets of Hogsmeade were unrecognizable; the typical quaint calm all lost to bedazzled storefronts and deafening music. Around one fist was a scroll of the never-ending to-do list; every time he had completed something some other task managed to get added to the list. But there were a few priorities that overrided checking to see if the performers had arrived, and that priority was within dueling distance.
“Harry!” Percy called out to the boy wonder in question, pulling him away from whoever was trying to converse with him. There was no possibility for Harry to have actually wandered around without drawing attention; this party was for him anyway! Percy tried to wave the crowd away, using his wanded hand to shoo them off. “Sorry folks! He’s very busy today –”
Busy giving a status report, Percy had hoped. Despite the fact that Harry Potter worked for the Ministry of Magic, he was a tough man to get ahold of – even when his entire family revolved around him. But Arthur’s stories of what the boys were up to wasn’t equivalent to an actual statement that the wizarding world demanded.
