The reason Hattori has a top hat is that he saw it one time when Sabo was over and demanded he have one in exchange for his silence.

Lucci tries to be the utmost gentleman he can be, given their age difference.

Given their respective loyalties, they find it difficult to meet up often, but when they do, much of it is spent in silence, just soaking up each other's company. Most of their meetups are on deserted islands, in which many a tree has been cut down and burned.

They met entirely by accident, as Sabo had been in a fight with Kaku when Lucci showed up. Kaku is the only member of CP-0 that knows about the two of them. He thinks it's adorable. (He was also bribed with multiple giraffe-themed items to keep silent.)

Sabo likes period romance novels while Lucci prefers murder mysteries. They have heated debates about the merits of each. As much as they can, they try not to talk about the RA and the Marines. Both follow each other's progress very closely though.

Sabo does occasionally feel incredibly young and naive when compared to Lucci. Those moments are often followed by Lucci shifting into his Zoan form and curling around Sabo, reassuring him that he feels the same way about his age and that he cares for Sabo very much nevertheless.

Gran Tesoro was supposed to be a date spot for them, but needless to say, things changed very quickly. It's often Sabo that dawns disguises when they try to have more public dates. (Same with the Pirate Fest.)

Dragon, all knowing that he is, knows about Lucci. When he tried to persuade Sabo to use his relationship with Lucci to gain information, Sabo refused so vehemently that Dragon thought Sabo would go after him for just the idea.

It was Dragon that shows Sabo how to apply makeup to cover his burn so that he and Lucci could spend more time together (as Dragon remembered having to do). In exchange, Sabo passes along information about Luffy.
