The city of Spirale is a great, winding place, on par with the likes of her hometown of Norwich or the merchant city of Gloucester (even if she never got as familiar with that place as, say, Baobhan Sith). It's taking her time to familiarize herself with its wards, especially given that she's opted to move on foot for most of the journey; public transportation might be speedier and more convenient, but Barghest worries she might overlook some aspects of the city a slower, more thorough investigation would make evident. If this is to be her home for the foreseeable future, after all, then she would do well to understand it as best she can.
Something she's certain would have impressed on her either way, even given the fact she's only made it to Archimedes so far, is how different the wards are. Her 'home ward' of Fibonacci is a place that seems to pride itself on its technological advancement, regardless of that advancement's impact on the world around it--and, perhaps more than even that, it's very much vertical, towering upwards higher even than the peaks of Fae Britain. Meanwhile, Archimedes, while still having modern sensibilities, seems much more...in a word, humble. Perhaps not a natural paradise either, but...to be honest, if she had to state a preference, hers would likely be the latter.
Another thing she's learned about Spirale is that one can never truly expect who they'll find here. Perhaps it only made sense once she'd found the second Tam Lin within its walls that she would eventually find the third, but the face she sees drinking tea at one of the local cafes in this area is...if not surprising, then still unexpected.
"...Cnoc na Riabh?" It wasn't the fact that the would-be Queen had died that made her appearance unexpected; technically speaking, she had died, too. They had all died, because of the nibbling of a scheming little insect at the foundations of their world. It was more, well...they already had all three Tam Lin here. What could the architects of this place be planning to fight that required more power than that?
That said, the fact that it's unexpected doesn't mean it's unwelcome. The uncorroborated accusations borne on the wind that had turned so many against her were just that--uncorroborated. It would be wrong to simply believe them without further investigation. Barghest clears her throat, standing somewhat awkwardly next to the table. "It's...good to see you well. ....Do you, er, do you want me to just, take a seat?"
