I first started thinking about this because another post mentioned the boys realizing they don't have bones anymore as a fic idea, but my brother gave me the idea of variety, so!

Obviously they're all way bendier than normal, but..

Nathan has the stiffest(least flexible) bones of the three, they need to be stiff to hold his shape while hes flying, they are also way lighter than they used to be

Ricardo's are the sturdiest, to support his strength. After they bend they spring back into position immediately. Them being bouncy also helps propel his jumps. Because he can't hold stretched or bent shapes, he looks like he's the least elastic until you pay closer attention

Jake doesn't have bones anymore. If they're still in there, they're the same consistency as everything else. Because of this, his movements are the most noticeably off, although none of them quite move normally anymore

On breaking bones specifically..

Jake's can't anymore, Ricardo's will if you hold them bent for long enough, and Nathan's break the closest to normal, if you bend them too far, they break, they're just also are able to bend more than usual.

WDYM IT AIRED IN 2018, HAS 2 GREAT SEASONS FILLED WITH PLOT TWISTS, ENDS ON A CLIFF HANGER WITH INTENSELY HIGH STAKES AND ITS JUST...OVER?!

I HAVE to see this show get another season someday. There's so many plot points that haven't been resolved! They could do so much with this show and yet it's 2026 and there's NOTHING.

Fandom so small there's only 2 pages of Ao3 fics and most of them are random crossover ones T_T

I feel like this is how the topic of “the flex fighters don’t have bones” would come up, stretch probably already knows his bones are gone cause the first thing he did when he realised he had his powers was check if his bones were broken.
