I can‘t join anyone in any corner right now but OMG I literally ignored ten side quests JUST to try and watch cheesy movies with him until I had to stop playing BECAUSE HE IS SO SWEET (ME:A only gave me ten hours to bone him and I failed ;A;)

Your favourite non-canon ship?That is gonna have to be Samson and @osunism‘s Hadiza. She made me see the wonderful side of Samson, the good side, the hurt and broken man who fucked everything up and gave him a second chance. And Hadiza, so kind and gentle, but such a fearsome mage, they’re just perfect together. And they brought so much light to each other’s lives. I love them.

Is there a ship you didn’t like at first but ultimately started shipping?

Blackwall + Inquisitor. I really didn’t give two shits about Blackwall, especially as some of the first people I was involved with in fandom were kind of...

Anyway, @noseforahtwo showed me the light with Blackwall. Now I adore him. And when the Inquisitor is a bit banged up, has their own history, and can pair off with him toe to toe, I really like that. 

What is the rarest rare pair (that you ship)?

Again, thanks to Nosy, Thom Rainier and Gordon Blackwall. Anything for those two. 

Name a popular ship you don’t get the appeal of.

Cullen and Mages. Cullen and...anyone really, but especially Cullen and Mages. It just doesn’t work for me. I respect that Cullen is one of the few fluffy romances in the series, but I can’t stand his character. I’m also a reformed Sollavellan so that’s another ship I don’t want in my life. 

What is your most fluffy + happy ship?

I do love cold, angry women! You very rarely see them in media unless theyre villains :(

That same shit from a white man is praised, and I won’t pretend this trope isn’t imposed on other women (again, to show villainy) - especially for WoC - where they aren’t allowed to be vulnerable and are depicted as angry.....

But ffs I’m tired of seeing women who can’t ever be rightfully angry but ALSO have numerous positive traits, or perhaps have a damn good REASON for being so pissed.

Like....maybe your parents were betrayed and killed by a supposed ally and now you’re forced to join an Order and abandon your life, or maybe you fell in love with a man who turned out to be the cause of your suffering and now threatens to destroy the world. 

And everyone reacts differently to trauma and I’m just....tired of never seeing that reaction and seeing women have to either “be strong” and plucky or drown in a ocean of tears until the man swoops in.
