You are now Jack Noir.
You have just murdered an innocent family.
What will you do?
That’s a wrap for the Guardians, then. I guess Bec is technically still alive, but he's just part of Jadesprite now. Is she marked for death, too?
The most malevolent creature in the session, and the dog holding him.
Looks like we're getting a glimpse into Jack's psyche. I don't think we've been in his head since before the Ring.
It makes a lot of sense that he'd be bored. As a First Guardian, Jack is completely peerless, and I doubt he appreciates a life bereft of challenge. His rampage has gotten stale, and how he's just dicking around with an impossibly high power level, to no apparent end.
Jack Noir is perfectly content with simple destruction, but that destruction needs to be fun. This is nothing.
There is only one cure for boredom befitting a demigod, and that is more senseless killing.
You consult your proud long snout for assistance with the hunt. You pick up the maddening scent of one of the young graveyard stuffers. You are sure it is the same one you slaughtered earlier, and yet his stench remains, confounding you from every direction. It is as if THE BREEZE which carries it deliberately seeks to obfuscate the odor's origin.
He can't lock John down, and the reference to the Breeze seems to imply it's because of his Aspect. In my analysis of Breath, I associated it with direction and individual agency, and it makes a lot of sense that a freedom-themed Player would confound any attempt to locate them.
This would be great, if John actually knew about it - but as it stands, he's unlikely to want to hide from Jack.
Not after he's seen the bodies.
