Procedure Utilized:
PU-046 is to be kept in its containment chamber in Site-4, where only Foundation members can access it.
As PU-046-1 instances provide significant value to the Foundation for cheap-but-undesirable antibiotic production, a few (preferably willing) carriers are to exist at any given time.
Entering the containment unit is allowed only for maintaining the small quantity of PU-046-1 carriers with the Foundation, when one is lost for some reason or another. Entry outside of this directive is to be prevented, barring orders of the P8 Council.
Description:
PU-046 is a large pipe entrance made out of solid gold, bearing resemblance to the "Golden Pipe" from the Mario series of video games. It cannot be broken or disassembled by any known means. Moving PU-046 is possible, but rather difficult due to its significant weight.
The top of the pipe appears to be solid black, however, any subject that stands on the black surface for more than 2 seconds will 'enter' the pipe, sinking into its interior for a brief period of time (4-10 seconds), before floating back up the way they came.
Once a subject has entered PU-046, an anomalous effect (PU-046-1) starts to occur within a 6 meter radius of the subject, where any pipe or machine that dispenses a liquid containing water (H2O) will dispense an altered liquid with PU-046-2 replacing the water molecules.
PU-046-2 is a liquid that is chemically identical to the current urine of the PU-046-1 instance that created it. It is strongly antimicrobial, and functions as an extremely effective though generally repulsive antibiotic.
When a PU-046-1 carrier ingests a liquid containing PU-046-2, the PU-046-2 turns back into water upon swallowing. This allows the subject to subsist off of liquid affected by PU-046-1, although with generally great disgust. This also renders all forms of PU-046-2 based antibiotics ineffective on PU-046-1 afflicted individuals.
PU-046-1 affliction is permanent, and cannot be reversed by any known means.
Acquisition:
PU-046 was discovered in a storage unit in [REDACTED] where a thief's attempt to break off and steal a chunk of PU-046 to sell was thwarted by the anomalous durability of the object.
Security footage of the incident circulated briefly on a local Facebook group, upon which the object was acquired by [REDACTED], another anomalous object containment organization.
Upon early testing, the disgust-related nature of PU-046 was revealed, and it was transferred to the S-C-PU Foundation to contain.
