          It wasn’t unheard of for trainees or even those already in the field to practice later than needed, but Tenn already dedicated so much of his personal time to the task that it could be said he went overboard with it. Such is why it was a  SLIGHT  surprise to see that the room usually empty by now was occupied by another. “ Oh, Ryuu. ” He set his bag atop a nearby chair and draped his jacket around the back. No use in stalling just because there was  COMPANY.  “ I didn’t know you practiced this late as well. ”

THEY’RE FRIENDS THEY!!!

it always starts out the same, but he could never evade it; the street’s end reaches beyond his sight into the unknown. the walls are narrow as he walks into this maze that was once a place where he found comfort. for where the stars should be eyes gaze; each one of them open up like a bud blooming waiting to be plucked.

a woman’s yell could be heard and his feet take him to the source. he sees two faces, but both of them had crosses ontop of their features. the lady’s face bled black liquid that slowly went downwards and created a twisted smile out of a former frown.

his feet walk and walk closer until he stands between the two. he tries to wave a hand in front of the woman first, but no reaction. strange. he turns around with his hand still raised upwards and he sees the man now on the ground.

drip, drop.

he gazes at where the sound originates from and sees a reflection. his face now too bleeds, but what watery substance left his face exchanged itself for something else. he now wears glasses who don’t show what’s behind the white of it all. he’s surrounded by pointing fingers... and where those eyes always close?

    His  voice  startled  her  just  slightly ,  forcing  her  gaze  to  snap  from  the  live  iguana  in  her  hands  to  the  man  before  her .  Her  brow  quirks  and  the  corners  of  her  mouth  rose  into  a  cheeky  smile ,  only  to  slowly  bring  the  poor ,  squirming  reptile  even  closer  to  her  sharp - toothed  maw .
