Description: After divorcing each other two years ago you can’t shake off the love you have for your cold, stoic husband- Ryuken Ishida. It seems he feels the same way…

The air thickened as you knocked on the door of his office. All logic was abandoned as soon as your mind curated the brave but stupid idea of visiting him with the excuse of returning a gifted bracelet. Before you could think anymore his ruff voice cut through your thoughts. “The doors open come in” he stated and with that you entered. The dense smog of his musky cologne filled your nose. You walked over to him keeping a lengthy distance betwene the two of you.

“I found this and thought I should return it to you” you muttered as you walked through the door with your left hand clutched around a platinum bracelet with a carving of your name to the side. He didnt even turn to look at you as he organised the books on his shelf by topic. There was a slight pause.

“Wouldn’t it have been wise for you to post it to me. After all we are divorced and we shouldn’t be seeing eachother. Let alone conversing on a personal level” he replied bluntly as his index drew a line on the spine of a book before pulling it out and rearranging it.

“Its not personal just simply a short interaction” You countered as your eyes slit in two as you registered his dismissive tone. Had he really moved on that fast? Did he already have someone else? It had only been 2 years since the official day you got divorced. Though his words hurt but you never liked to show it. However you’d be lying if you said you didnt miss the warmth of his body next to yours everynight. Or how he’d play with your hair when he thought you were asleep.

The sound of his body facing yours snapped you out of your thoughts.

His ice blue eyes bored into yours as he slowly leaned back on the bookshelf. His hands dropped the book on to the mahogany desk and came either side of him pushing against the shelf causing the veins in his arms to be uncovered.

“If I recall correctly I advised us not to speak at all unless out of necessity” he continued as you felt the blush on your cheeks become more prominent.

“It is necessity. We wouldn’t want Ryuken roaming around the city without his special bracelet“ you mocked him with a slight smirk on your face.

“I see your still problematic” his eyes were cold as you bit down softly on your lip.

He sensed your desperation to talk to and walked out of his office expecting you to follow him to his seating room near t to which you did. He poured drinks specifically your favourite wine. It was an hour in to which you started fo feel the buzz of the alcohol.

“Tell me Ryuken…is it wrong to mwke a bad decision every once in a while” you muttered as you moved closer towards him revealing your weak nature whenever if came to him.

“Elaborate” he hestitated as your hands snaked up his arm and looped around his neck. Instantly his hands grabbed your waist.

“Just kiss me…for the last time and then I’ll let you go…for good” you muttered into his chest as he pulled you close and whispered into tour ear.

“Your drunk” he muttered bluntly as his arms reached for you waist stabilising you.

“Don’t you even mjss me a little bit even if majority of your feelings towards me is hate I-”

“I don’t hate you” his hands skimmed your curves and reached your hair tightly fisting know his palm before claiming your lips abruptly.

“Im sorry. I shouldn’t have left you I was- I don’t know I just-” you whispered on to his lips as you fought the urge to take him there and then. You words were slurred but voiced your thoughts in the purest form.

“its my fault” he finished for you.

“I understand I am not the best at expressing emotions. But maybe in this life we will marry again maybe not. Though until then I assure you this won’t be the last time you take me”.

You felt him lift you up on to his lap so that you straddle him. Your lips met his as he slowly clawed at your clothes.

“I love you Ryuken” you mummered on his lips. You could have sworn he smiled but you were so drunk on his proximity that you could only focus on the feeling and closeness of you two.

“I love you too Y/n. You have always been wife”
