When I’m producing, I have 2 ways of working. I start out making lots of plates, then I get tired of it and my back hurts from standing, so I switch to making bowls! I fill up all of my shelves with green ware, this winter has been so cold in the studio that it is taking Time for the pottery to dry. When my shelves are full, I bisque fire everything! At least bisque ware can be stacked, because while the kilns are on, I’m still making new pieces! Finally I clear the decks and begin the task of glazing and firing, and so it goes! Today I started glazing striped vases, spring really is coming soon and I’m going to have some new vases for all that spring blossom! You might just catch a glimpse of them here next week ;) #thispotterslife #rythmofmyday #craftyfolk #handmadepottery #seekbeautyalways (at London, United Kingdom)
