I remember being a Rylor shipper back when everyone else was obsessed with Ryissa. I felt like I was on an Island by myself lol. Taylor’s neurotic charm, sharp intelligence, and lovable high strung personality made her impossible not to adore. Rylor represented something rare in teen dramas at the time: A relationship built not on chaos and trauma, but on healing, laughter, and emotional stability. In contrast to Ryan’s passionate yet destructive relationship with Marissa, his connection with Taylor felt healthier, lighter, and more mature. Their romance offered a glimpse of who Ryan could become when he was finally allowed peace instead of constant heartbreak.
