Speaking of Ryder, he thought I was joking when I told him he was getting a bath today. He indeed got one plus a pawdicure and now he’s a clean, soft dog.
We're supposed to get some super bad storms in a bit but Ryder's food came in right before it! He spent 5 minutes sniffing and licking the box because he knows it's for him haha. Thank you guys again for helping me out ;u;
We walked by this group of ladies & a little girl while we were at the park tonight and they were amazed at Ryder’s light up gear. One of them thought my dog was a chihuahua x min pin mix which surprised me cause I never heard anyone consider him a chihuahua since he was a puppy [and he’s definitely not skinny enough to be the result of the two]. They also proceeded to call him a very happy dog with a happy smile, that he has a great personality, and to ‘go on with yo fine self.’ My dog definitely loved the attention lmao

OKAY Ryder’s back home from the vet BUT yeah We went around 8:15am and they checked him out. The puncture wounds ended up deeper than the vet thought so they had to end up sedating him because he was definitely in serious pain. She said that the punctures ended up connecting with each other and she had to drain the wounds. So for the next 5 days I have to be on wound cleaning duty to make sure everything ends up draining out with no problems and he has to wear a cone [yaaay cone adventures part 2] and a shirt. The funny thing is that they ended up washing his shirt that he wore when we brought him there and he’s currently wearing a huge blue tshirt from the vet office because his shirt wasn’t finished cleaning. We got home as soon as 12pm hit. Right now he’s fast asleep behind me because he’s still weak and drowsy from the surgery. We also got in contact with the akita couple about the bill and we will have a convo later because the guy is currently at work. But yeah, looks like I won’t be going anywhere these next few days. I’m gonna be hella occupied. For now, I can finally rest. I’ve been up for about 22 hours.
