who’s the mermaid and who’s the fisherman

i can never see jean as a merfolk so he’s the fisherman. that makes reyes the mermaid. i mean they’d probably spend some months bickering with each other until reyes saves his ass after this storm happened to which jean denies ever happening or the fact that reyes kissed him to save his life. to which they have more ust and eventually, yeah, he’s gonna get it on with a fish creature

who’s the teacher and who’s the single parent

jean isn’t meant to be a parent (or a teacher for that matter) so i mean, he’s like the hot substitute teacher for reyes’ kid’s class and it’s parent-teacher night or w/e they do in educational institutions outside of university. the 5-10 minute talk with the dad of one of his students has him kind of...bothered u know that kind of bothered.

they end up meeting for coffee bc jean gives his goddamn phone number to this guy.

because at least i did something right lmao.

THEY’RE REALLY JUST TRYING is another one because it’s like an experiment I did just showing what happens when two assholes very flawed people have a kid. It’s not gonna be perfect but you know they still try.

when do i not have writers block lmao.

I mean I have like a writers block for four months (a semester) bc my number one priority is always school. I think when an idea strikes, I write it in this massive document of snippets, lines and conversations so I don’t forget about it. Sometimes it becomes bigger than I intend it so I move it into another document.
