Accidentally cut myself while washing my stuff so I had a plaster on my pinky finger. Ryder noticed it. He kept asking if I'm in pain and examined my hand carefully to see if there is anymore. He seems so worried and I'm like it's okay, I'm fine. His actions really touched me. I mean look at his innocent & genuinely worried face! Ryder has always been gentle and cheerful. I'm so lucky that he has this caring trait in his character. Ever read this quote by Frederick Douglass: "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." After Ryder starts to pick up from the adults (mainly me & R) so quickly, we begin to mind our language and be as encouraging as we can. Because our children is actually a mirror image of us, until they are older and start to have their own set of thinkings. Whatever it is, I wish that Ryder will stay kind like this even when he grows up. I hope that we as parents are able to set good examples for our kids. This also serve as a reminder for ourselves. Haven't been having enough sleep these few days as Ryder is sick... 🤒 . One good thing is that he is still active & cheerful! Yesterday night he took his own sweet time to brush his teeth while watching paw patrol... And when I told him I'm gonna check now... He speed brush his teeth quickly! Hahaha. I find his innocence so adorable, I hope he don't lose his 童真 so soon.
