I mean, he decided to stop smoking within the timeframe where Hyung Suk is a student (He was also advised to stop JUST AFTER he beats the thugs for Hyung Suk.)This may also be wishful thinking, but if I recall correctly, Jae yeol didn’t offer anyone gum. (Except OG Hyung Suk), well maybe it just so happens he knows that Hyung Suk and OG Hyung Suk are roommates? (And really good friends) So he’s trying to show he quitted smoking in the hopes of OG Hyung Suk will relay that information to Hyung Suk. LMAO just wishful thinking.
But to be more logical, there was no girl/boy, no potential love interest for Jae yeol from the start to the latest chapters.So for whom did he stop smoking?Hyung Suk!And no, don’t say to me ‘He stopped smoking just because he wants to get a lover in general not Hyung Suk!’Please, read Lookism again. Jae yeol literally looks like he fell in love at first sight in the first panels. Throughout all arcs, his thoughts and actions are all centered around Hyung Suk.If it really was the opposite, and Jae yeol never really had feelings for Hyung Suk and just wanted a lover, then i guess that’s what you call queerbaiting? What a shame.
Okay, I’m getting some No.6 vibes just by watching the first episode of Banana Fish and reading some comments about the boys?

I would like to point out if Park Tae Jun doesn’t even go to the Jae Yeol & Hyung Suk route, I hope he’d give some consideration for Ha Neul.
I’m a sucker for character development and because of that, I really love Ha Neul. If you would compare her character from the start until now, she went through a lot of change and my impression of her changed greatly.Â
If I recall correctly, she was the first person that we, the readers, knew she had a crush on Hyung Suk (the Original Hyung Suk and the other one.) During that time, Soo Jeong was just a frequent customer in the convenience store, nothing much about her character till the later chapters.Â
I love Soo Jeong, okay. But I can’t help feel that she’s created as this perfect woman that is totally perfect for Hyung Suk. You can feel like they’re going to be the end game couple of this webtoon. This just kinda makes me sad cause it looks like it’s going to be the ‘I’m the one destined to be with you’ kind of ending.
Give Ha Neul some credit, guys.

What I hate the most
What I hate the most is Yoosung's crying emoji.
When I was doing Jumin's route, not once, BUT TWICE IN A ROW, he sent that crying emoji and I was in the living room with loud speakers.
My sisters flipped not knowing what the hell I was doing.
