Ryan Sarno's new album, History Lessons, Vol. 3: Stuck In the Present is now available at ananalog.bandcamp.com. Like most of the History Lessons series, this album features compositions determined by the recording process and experimental fingerstyle guitar. Stuck In the Present gets its name from a prominent use of a loop pedal on the guitar, which enabled Sarno to snatch and re-contextualize improvised passages into the compositions, dragging the past into the snowballing present. Like Volume 1, greased, second hand event poems are buried in the snow. For now, the price is zero zero, so don't be shy about downloading.
