to kick off the roleplay and to thank you guys for such a successful opening, an event is being held for everyone to mingle! if you do not exactly know what a debutante is, feel free to check out this wikipedia page. in conclusion, a debutante ball/cotillion is basically a really formal ball to ‘debut’ girls into society. it’s all about that fancy etiquette, attire, manners, etc. a really rich people thing, if you will.

this event will start on friday, march 3rd, anytime you’d like! you do not have to wait until 7 pm pst/kst/whatever timezone, so you can even start posting threads for the event at exactly midnight on march 3rd. in the roleplay world the ball only lasts for that one night, but in the real world the last day to post new threads for this event is sunday, march 12th. this means you have over an entire week to plot and get stuff rolling!

(note that all debutante ladies are wearing white dresses and everyone is in very formal/fancy clothing!) 

the ball is invite only and very exclusive; all the royal families and members of the royal court and counts/countesses were invited, eunuchs/palace ladies are working as part of the staff (i.e. food servers, cooks/chefs, greeters, etc.), and any ‘other’ positions are doing their job where applicable (i.e. moon hana the party planner or choi hyunggyu the bodyguard). civilians who have a significant relationship with a member or members of the royal family or court would’ve also been invited as well. if you are having a hard time thinking of a reason your muse would be at this ball, shoot my character (@ryhaeun) a message and we can plot something out! maybe your muse is working as part of the staff or maybe they even sneaked in!
