As powerful as Tenebrae was, it did not mean he never got hurt. He could not freely or casually use his powers, which meant sometimes he ended up in bad situations. His physical form, despite handling his powers, stayed close to how humans were. He might have better senses and abilities, but in the end, the Incarnation could end in danger when he encountered supernatural beings.
Today had been one of those days. Too much darkness had attracted Tenebrae, and of course, the culprits did not take lightly to his reprimand. The battle had been fierce, if completly unnoticed by humans. The Incarnation of Darkness had ended up victorious, but at what price?
Shadows had wrapped around him to hide his form from all as Tenebrae walked out of the area. They guided him, and he trusted whatever path they pushed him through. He could not yet leave, as he was not certain the threat had been disposed of fully. And he worried about calling for his Apocalypses, as not only the pulse of energy could be felt in his current state, but it might be dangerous to have even one other Incarnation in the area.
So, when the shadows lead him to a familiar door, Tenebrae smiled softly. He leaned his body against the wall, knocking as he forced his body to stay upward. He waited with deep breaths until the door opened, and after a second he gazed up. Guilt formed as he noticed the wide eyes of Gui Long, disliking that he had to show himself in such ways to his friend.
But right now, Gui Long was the only one he could trust to be around, the only one close enough that he didn’t have to use too much powers to go to.
Tenebrae tried to not put too much weight on the man, though he let a sigh of relief pass his lips as they entered the safety of the other male’s home. Tenebrae showed a faint grin, willing it to be reassuring. He groaned as he fell on the couch, tempted to lie down but Gui Long’s words made him stay sitting.
“Got in trouble...” He voice softly. The dark blue haired male jolted straighter as the mention of a doctor.
“No-!” His hand wrapped around Gui Long’s wrist, surprisingly strong from someone who looked so beat up. “I can’t-Trust me. Just... Let me patch up and rest.” He smiled again, releasing his friend and patting his arm. “I’m fine, despite how I look.”
