I heard today was #RWBY5Years which is seriously such a huge milestone! I started cosplaying Cinder right after volume 1 ended. Cinder was someone I chose to cosplay on a whim, back when I was a smol, shy, and extremely self conscious nerd. I really think cosplaying Cinder changed how I look at myself. I never could’ve imagined back when I started watching RWBY that I’d be such a serious cosplayer, 4 years and several RWBY cosplays later. RWBY for 5 years
So RT is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the first episode of RWBY Volume 1 airing asking for people to send art and cosplay. I of course replied on twitter with my playlist of Fan-Trailers for every current Volume for the series, which can be found here.
Now I’m on a nostalgia high and am going to sit down and watch as much of RWBY Volumes 1-? as I can before I get tired and go to bed. I wonder if I will get whiplash due to the visuals.
Five whole years!!! It’s been crazy getting to grow up with these characters. I owe so much to this show and I’m forever grateful for it.
