The intro to Death Note is so insane I’m never living it down. This 17 year old dude gets ahold of the power to kill whoever he wants, immediately assumes he’ll loose his soul if he used it, decides to go down with that ship (witch is wild by it self), proceeds to show off all the people he’s killed to Ruyuk as if he’s presenting his grades to his mother, aND THEN LEARNS THAT NO! THERE ARE NO IMMEDIATE CONSEQUENCES FOR YOUR ACTIONS! And then the rest of the manga is just him having to deal with that? Insane
