His smile came back to the one that seemed as if he was the most attractive individual in the area. His hand let go of the smaller girl and ran it through his hair. His eyes were still glaring at Clove. She seemed to think she was the best around, if only she knew what was to come. She was a pretty girl, they would literally eat her up.

          Five years had passed since the 74th annual Hunger Games,

          five years since he slaughtered his fellow tributes, five years

          since his district partner met her end. They were supposed to

          win together, go home together, bring pride to their district. It

          was no use dwelling in the past, now he had a moderate residence

          in the Capitol; not that it was his choice, he just couldn't handle

          returning to his home district, knowing that he couldn't protect her

          long enough to return her home. Sighing, the blond grabbed his coat,

          and stepped into the cold world of the Capitol, it's streets packed with

          their made up faces, bustling in and out of boutiques. Out of the packs

          of pale faces, and complex colored wigs; he spotted her, so out of place

          with her plain, straight ebony locks. She was familiar to him, somehow, he

          just had to find a way to get a closer glimpse.

   Clove looked furious and   even Cato wasn't idiot enough  to mess around with the girl   when she was in such a mood.   Not if he valued his skin staying   in tact, that was. He was sure that   she had noticed the way he and    the blonde from District One had    been behaving towards one another.      He wanted to tell her, he truly did.   But an act was only an act until   you told; spoiling it and their chances   of getting any sponsors from the    arranged deal. Instead, he feigned   ignorance, raising his hands in front."I have no idea what you're talking about."
