I don’t think she would use that word to describe herself, however. Ruth is roughly 48 years old and departed earth some 12 years back. At that time language like that wasn’t exactly widespread.
She’s pretty confident in her identity just ‘not being into that kind of thing.’ She may also occasionally seek out something on the physical side, at least about as much as a woman her age would want to (survival aside.)
She does however have a sense of anxiety about romance, having in the past inadvertently harmed others through being, well, a little dense in her youth. She has this underlying fear that because she doesn’t experience feeling of romantic love, she can’t truly understand it and will unavoidably end up hurting someone again.
I'd say Ruth's an asexual biromantic based on the information. But I'm not an expert so don't take my word for everything

Ruth is really weird with sexual and romantic things all way round like if there was two people near her (as in: in the same room) gettin cuddly or anything she’d be like “yyeaaahhh i’m gonna get out of here right now cause you’re doing a weird thing bYE!" she’s not emotionally blocked or anything in the physical contact or anything she’s just more comfortable by fighting someone with her body instead of getting close with them (Elsa is put aside for this because they’re really platonically close and Elsa likes hugging so Ruth’s okay with it as long as no one else sees).
she knows all the works and stuff and how it happens and she just doesn’t like the thought of it. she has done sexual things before but it’s ben like yknow. in her own company (i don’t like saying actual words it seems weIRD).
so TL;DR: Ruth is weird cause she doesnt like being in contact with others or the sex but she likes the feeling of it and she will fancy someone regardless of gender
