Once upon a time ago, I made a bastard and named him Phoenix.
Phoenix is a triple changer; a tank-helicopter, to be precise, and he's massive, thickly armored bastard. His alt-modes are loosely based off the Panzer VIII Maus and Mil Mi-26, so he stands tall, is broad and thick, and he - unfortunately - knows it too (derogatory).
In his original draft, he was/is a ruthless bandit chief on Cybertron who started off his pillaging career by abandoning the Autobot army and convincing the mecha under his command to overthrow the base they were stationed in. Most of them followed his lead, so they quickly gained control of the base and turned it into their hideout for the years to come. Those under Phoenix's leadership were only marginally safer than anyone outside of his gang because he has a low tolerance for failure and any sort of perceived betrayal/distrust.
Then, in another draft (which winded up putting Phoenix in the same universe as Dennis), he stayed with the Autobots as a high ranking officer under the command of Elita-1. Years of service on Cybertron under her leadership has lead to Phoenix being notably more loyal to her than the likes of anyone else above her rank, including Optimus Prime, but he's not so bullheaded that he'll outright ignore the commands of his other leaders. He just gives Elita the side-eye like "Do I really have to listen to this? Fine. Okay."
"You don't have to trust my words, but do you have any better options?" The intense rumbling is getting louder, and Volume's taking a chance, leaning halfway out of his ship's airlock with an outstretched hand.
Bumblebee contemplates his options. To stay would mean certain death. To trust Volume... would mean taking a risk. He leaps forward and catches Volume's hand with both of his, clinging for fear life.
Rustpaw silently pads down the length of the intergalactic train, audials swiveling with each passed compartment. Then, finally, the cassette comes across a booth with only one passenger seated within. Uncertain of finding a completely empty seat, Rusty pokes a nose in through the doorway. ::May I intrude?::
Ash's helm whips around suddenly, as if the words jerked her out of her self induced trance. Then, her optics swivelled wide as she looked at the stranger in the doorway.
"..You may-" She said with a nod, straightening up a bit in her seat as if that would make her come across as more composed.
