A massive cloud of blue mist appeared before a white Umbreon with blue rings and crimson eyes walked out. In the Umbreon’s mouth was a lantern made out of silver, with a single blue flame in the cage. He set it down and turned to you. “You asked of my presence?“

Sitting on the ground a short distance away from the Umbreon was a shiny Gardevoir with a red rose behind her the ‘fins’ on her head that were the source of her name. Her lime green eyes stared straight through you, before she gave a simple nod.

A portal opened in front of you, and out of it stepped two Pokemon, an Eevee that, even over 40 years old, still hadn’t evolved. He looked normal, aside from the orange eyes with a dark crimson glow. Around his neck was a golden pendant with three shards of different evolutionary stones embedded in it: A Firestone, a Thunderstone, and a Waterstone. Beside him was a Luxio with a lightning bolt shaped tail with a flat end. On her neck she wore an amber-colored bow.

“Hi there, my name is Rusty,” the Eevee introduced himself. Before any more words could come out of his mouth, the Luxio sprung forward with her own greeting.

“Hiya! Name’s Spark, and it’s nice to meet you all!”

A short while later, a shiny Bayleef wearing a green scarf appeared, accompanied by a Charmander wearing an Everstone around her neck. The latter of the two appeared to be carrying research notes. 

“You two love to make a dramatic entrance, don’t you,” the Fire-type remarked, before turning to you. “Apologies if they frightened you; Spark in particular. My name is Lin, and the lovely grass-type beside me is Anita.” The Bayleef just sat down and covered her face to try and hide her blush, which in turn made Lin chuckle. “Works every time.”
