It makes me angry
There's a show on Russian TV where a woman interviews children from an orphanage in order to show them to their potential adopters. So, she's interviewing an eight-year-old girl and her little brother, and she asks the girl: "You are elder, but you're a girl. He's a boy, but he's younger. Who's the leader in your family then?" And the boy tells: "I'm too little, but soon I'll be the leader".
Ok, this is it. The "traditional values" our government's fighting for. Good for you, suckers.
And we, sexism haters, are looked down as if we were some silly simpletons, victims of "Western brainwashing". Nobody wants to look stupid, so people tend to stand for the "traditions". It's considered perfectly ok to impose sexist standarts to little children.
It makes me sad and angry.
