High school had started and boy was it fun. You had only been through half the day,on your way to lunch with Julie's group now. "Hey,you know who we have yet to see today?" You looked up at Jules, intrigued, "who?" Just then it was the loud familiar sound, of a boy hitting himself on a trash can. You turned quickly from Julie's face to face front and look at the boy, skateboard and trashcan knocked over as he stared back up at you in awe. "Y/n."

You smiled brightly looking down at the one and only, Russell Hayes. "Speak of the devil." Yancy said as she and the rest of the group began a conversation. "Y/n!" It was the sweetest tone you had ever heard in anyone's voice. He was truly smitten just seeing your face, so smitten...he had ran into a trashcan because he was staring at you.

He had hurriedly gotten to his feet,dusting off his pants. You smiled, "Hey Russ." He smiled, stepping closer to you. "Hey Y/n...I really missed ya over summer ya know" He layed his arm around you shoulder,goofy grin in place on his face. "I missed you too Russ" ruffling his hair you couldn't help but feel like things were the same as before.

Things however felt just a little different this time,you felt a strange, somewhat closer connection to him. "So where we sitting for lunch?" He giggled at his own words before following you to the fountain. "You sat and he comfortably sat beside you, resting your legs over his. You two basically looked like you were dating,cuddling to eachother, laughing and telling stories while his hand rested on your thigh.

You softly smiled as he continued his loud story, earning annoyed looks from the entire group beside you but still he continued his story. The lunch bell rang signaling your next class and you swung your legs off of his,softly kissing his cheek. "See you later loverboy" He smiled,blushing, "see you later Y/n/n." As you walked off to your next class he walked to his a giddy smile on his face.
